Excursion Trekking Ischia
The trek begins in Casamicciola. We pass through the pine forest that covers the volcanoes that arose c.a. 2,000 years ago to the north of the island. We arrive at the edge of the crater "Oglio Bottom."
We see fumaroles and go all the way to the mouth of the volcano. I continue to the next volcano "Ferraro Bottom" and then to Fiaiano. We visit the site of the last eruption (1302) on the island of Ischia, where there is now a pine forest.
