We start from the "Poacher" restaurant (500 m), where we have a view toward the south and west coast of the island.
Slowly we climb toward the summit of the island.
Here we are in the realm of green tuff, a geological formation almost unique in the world. We reach a cross, placed in memory of a plane crash in 1947. Along a path we reach "Punta San Nicola," the highest point on the island. From here we admire the entire island, the mainland and the Pontine islands.
